Provided consultation on the subsidy standards including: annual lock down drills, written daily attendance requirements, TB tests/screening required on day 1, Virginia Pre-service and Update training, allergy action plans for diagnosed food allergies, and the requirement that all staff have current first aid/CPR certification.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 4/6/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone to initiate the inspection. There were seven children present with the provider supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy regulations that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
