This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using a remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A monitoring inspection was initiated and completed on 04/07/2021by phone and video conferencing application.
On the date of the inspection there were 11 children directly supervised by 3 caregivers. The inspector reviewed 2 child records and 2 staff records. The child care area, emergency preparedness planning, drills and supplies were reviewed, a tour of the backyard play area and the programs eating area, kitchen and bathroom areas were also viewed.
The information gathered during the inspection determined a violation with applicable standards or law. Violations issued on violation notice.
The licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID -19 Essential Guidance for Child Care Programs.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-220-A Description: Based on record review and interview, required training was not current to administer medication.
Evidence: the provider's MAT ( medication administration training) has expired in September 2020. There is emergency medication on site ( that has not been administered).Plan of Correction: MAT training renewal scheduled for May 2021. Did not feel safe going until now due to the pandemic.
