The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs.
Discussed the upcoming transition to the Department of Education effective 7/1/21.
Discussed the fourth installment of the CARES Grant.
- Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The Provider was contacted via Facetime to conduct the inspection. There were a total of 8 children with 2 staff (16pts) on site during the inspection. The children were observed socially distanced while sitting and participating in the morning activities. All staff and children observed wearing masks. The children reviewed the days of the week, today's weather and the date by counting in both English and Spanish to 21. The lesson plan for today involved letter books and focusing on the letter "V". The program area was decorated with 'Little Bo Peep" themed bulletin board. No medications or food allergies identified at this time. A total of 2 children's records, emergency drills, all staff certifications and all background checks for staff and household members were reviewed.
