Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The provider was contacted via Facetime to conduct the inspection. A total of 6 children (17pts) with 3 staff present today. Some of the children were observed having morning snack in high chairs. The children were observed buckled safely in the equipment. Walk through of the programming was made to include the bathroom area and observation of the outside play area was made. The infants were sleeping in the crib room during the inspection and the crib room was not observed today. A total of 2 children's files were reviewed. A review of current staff background checks was made. Leniency is granted at this time for annual staff training. Thank you for your cooperation today with the inspection process. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@dss.virginia.gov with questions.
