The provider has agreed to place the deck off limits to all day care children as the openings in the railing present entrapment hazards.
Your step on diaper container as well as your spray bottles with cleaning solution and sanitizing agents should be close to the diapering area.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
A virtual initial inspection was conducted on 5/21/21 from 9 am to 12:15 pm. The applicant was contacted by phone to initiate the inspection. The primary daycare space will be in the basement. There are no children enrolled at this time.
The information gathered during the inspection determined violations with applicable standards or law.
Please contact your Licensing Inspector upon enrolling your first child.
Until you have a federally approved crib, you cannot be licensed for infants. Upon purchase of a crib, please send all the documentation to show that it meets the current federal guidelines.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-760-A-1 Description: Based on observation, there were no triangular bandages for the first aid kit. Plan of Correction: I will place two triangular bandages in the first aid kit.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-770 Description: Based on observation and interview, it was determined that there were no flashlight nor battery operated weather band radio in the home. Plan of Correction: I will find my flashlight and purchase a portable weather band battery operated radio.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-940-A Description: Based on interview, it was determined that there were no thermometer to check the freezer and refrigerator. Plan of Correction: I will purchase a freezer and refrigerator thermometer.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-330-A Description: Based on interview and observation, it was determined that the applicant did not have a landline telephone. Plan of Correction: I will get a landline phone.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-480-B Description: Based on observation and interview, it was determined that there were insufficient equipment for the requested age range of children.
