Technical Assistance:
The Licensing Inspector has reviewed with the provider COVID-19 Essential Guidance for Child Care programs. Provider's Covid precautions were reviewed and found consistent with the recommended guidelines.

Discussed upcoming transition to the Department of Education effective 07/01/21.

Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia. The provider was contacted via Facetime to conduct the inspection. There were a total of 10 children with 3 staff (30pts)
The children were transitioning from a trip to the local playground to the family day home. Once the children returned, they were seated for lunch. Staff were observed wearing masks and serving and feeding the children both at the tables and highchairs. Lunch today was hot dogs, mixed vegetables, noodles and raspberries. Food was cut into small pieces. Observation of the entire programming space was made. Cribs, bathroom and equipment were inspected. No medications on site today. Two children's records and 1 new staff record were reviewed. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@dss.virginia.gov with any questions.
