This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, necessary due to a state of emergency health pandemic declared by the Governor of Virginia.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted to investigate a self-reported incident regarding the forbidden action of rough handling of a child enrolled in the program. A remote inspection was initiated with the provider. An exit meeting was conducted on June 8, 2021. Interviews and a review of documentation was conducted. The concerns regarding the rough handling was determined to be invalid due to insufficient corroborating evidence to substantiate the allegation.
