Technical Assistance:

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services. Guidance, resources and training links can be found on the new website childcareva.com. Reviewed new zoning form that must be signed to reflect the new address and capacity (by right 7 as its a single family home).

Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program. A monitoring inspection was initiated on 8/25/2021 and concluded on 09/02/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were no children present the day of the inspection. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition.
