Technical Assistance:

The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services. Guidance, resources and training links can be found on the new website childcareva.com.

Comments:

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program. A renewal inspection was conducted on 9/13/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted using FaceTIme. There was 1 daycare child and 1 household member child present, ranging in ages from 4 months to 12 months with one staff supervising. The provider was within points for ratios and supervision (8 points). The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A child records was reviewed. All adults living in the home have current background checks and health records. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance.
