Technical Assistance was offered regarding safety on neighborhood walks and field trips to parks, in response to a complaint received on 10/19/2021. Standards allow for walking field trips with proper documentation and supervision.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews and a virtual tour of the program.
A complaint inspection was initiated on 10/19/2021 and concluded on 10/21/2021. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of 22VAC40-111-30, 22VAC40-111-60, 22VAC40-111-130, 22VAC40-111-200 and 22VAC40-111-560.
The preponderance of evidence gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation. The complaint is determined to be not valid.
