A working carbon monoxide detector is required to be in all family day homes.

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).
A monitoring inspection was initiated on October 18, 2021 and concluded on October 19, 2021. The provider was contacted and an inspection was conducted. There were 7 children present, ranging in ages from 1 month to 4 years with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Childrens records and 4 household member records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on review of four household member records, three do not contain documentation of a current report of a Tuberculosis (TB) screening.
Evidence
The record for household members # 1,2,and 3 do not contain documentation of a current report of TB screening. Documentation in each record is expired.Plan of Correction: Household members will go have their TB screening done and I will put the documentation in each record.
