Provide consultation on Subsidy Vendor Requirements:
1) 400 Procedures for emergencies
The vendor shall have a written emergency preparedness plan that addresses caregiver responsibility and home readiness with respect to emergency evacuation, relocation, lockdown, and shelter-in-place procedures.
The plan shall include procedural components such as the sounding of alarms, communication, and procedures to reunite children with a parent/authorized person after the emergency and be reviewed annually.
2) 410 Emergency Response Drills
Drills shall be practiced as follows:
a) evacuation procedures shall be practiced monthly
b) shelter-in-place procedures shall be practiced twice a year
c) lockdown procedures shall be practiced at least annually

This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, and an interview with the provider.
A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was conducted on 11/9/2021. There was one child present with the provider supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection.
