A renewal inspection was initiated on November 16, 2021 and concluded on November 18, 2021. There were ten children present with two caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of two child records, one caregiver and one household member records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on review, provider did not ensure 1 of 2 children's records has documentation of required information.
Evidence: The record for child #1 (start date November 1, 2021) did not have parents' employment addresses and the address for the second emergency contact.Plan of Correction: Provider will have parent fill in the information today.
Standard #: 63.2-1721.1-A Description: Based on review, provider did not ensure required background checks are updated every five years.
Evidence: Caregiver #1 and Household Member #1 had a most recent Central Registry Check completed October 28, 20216. The Central Registry Checks were not updated every five years.Plan of Correction: The central registry checks will be completed and mailed.
