Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted on 11/29/21 from 9:55am to 12:15pm in conjunction with a monitoring inspection (see that inspection report for details). The two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Two staff records were reviewed for documentation of the mandatory Virginia Preservice Training, the Health and Safety Update course, and current certification in First Aid and CPR. There are no children currently enrolled with diagnosed food allergies. The last lockdown drill was documented on 4/16/21. If you have questions regarding this inspection, please contact the Licensing Inspector, Laura Brindle, at laura.brindle@doe.virginia.gov or 540-905-2062.
