An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 12/15/2021. There were 8 children, ages 19 months-3 years totaling 18 points, and 2 caregivers present during the inspection. The inspector observed the following: learning activities and free choice activities. The inspector reviewed 5 children?s records, 2 caregiver records, 2 household member records and 2 pet records. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations are documented on the violation notice issued to the provider. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-800-B Description: Based on document review and discussion, the provider failed to review the emergency plan at least annually and update the plan as needed; the provider shall document the review in writing.
Evidence: The most recent review of the emergency plan was documented 06/19/2020.Plan of Correction: Will review, update and put in a secure location.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-340-C Description: Based on observations and discussion, the provider failed to ensure that the bathroom shall contain toilet tissue, liquid soap and paper towels.
Evidence: There were no paper towels available for children's use in the bathroom.Plan of Correction: Paper towels were placed in the bathroom during the inspection.
