This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interviews (if applicable) and a virtual tour of the program (if applicable).
A monitoring inspection was initiated on January 19, 2022 and concluded on January 24, 2022. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 9 children present, ranging in ages from birth to 9 years with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 4 child records and 3 household member recordswere reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-180-A Description: Based on review of three household records, the provider did not obtain a current report of tuberculosis screening from for each adult household member.
The record for household member #1 does not contain a current report of tuberculosis screening form dated every two years from the date of the last screening.
Plan of Correction: They will make an appointment and the form will be placed in their record.
