Comments:
This inspection was conducted by licensing staff using an alternate remote protocol, including telephone contacts, documents review, interview, and a virtual tour of the program.

A monitoring inspection was initiated on February 1, 2022 and concluded on February 3, 2022. The provider was contacted by telephone and a virtual inspection was conducted. There were 10 children present, with 3 staff supervising for a total of 29 points. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. The Provider does not administer medication at this time and program is still monitoring temperatures of children. A total of 2 child records and 1 household record were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Please call with questions 703-479-4679

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-770-40-D-5-a
Description: Based on interview and record review it was determined the Provider did not obtain a Child protective services central registry check within 30 days when a person in the home became 14 years old.
Evidence:
1. Household member turned 14 years back in November and Inspector asked to review CPS Clearance. The Provider stated she has the form filled out but had not sent it out.

Plan of Correction: I will get the form out this week.
