Comments:

A renewal inspection was conducted on April 4, 2022. There were 7 children present, with 2 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. Violations:

Standard #:	22VAC40-665-250-A
Description:	Based on observation, potentially poisonous substances were accessible to children. Evidence Cans of air freshener was accessible to children.
Plan of Correction:	We will make sure they are away and out of reach of children. Corrected during the inspection.
Standard #:	8VAC20-770-60-C-2
Description:	Based on review of provider/household member records, four do not have central registry findings. Evidence The record for the provider and three household members contain expired central registry findings. All results expired 4/7/22.
Plan of Correction:	We will get the CPS completed and submit the results to the inspector. In the future background checks will be submitted before they expire.
Standard #:	8VAC20-800-780-B
Description:	Based on review of children records, one did not have an annual update to their emergency contacts. Evidence The record for child #1 did not have an annual update to their emergency contacts
Plan of Correction:	I will make sure all records have an annual update.
Standard #:	8VAC20-800-830-A
Description:	Based on observation emergency evacuation procedures are not being practiced monthly. Evidence The last emergency drill was conducted in October 2021.
Plan of Correction:	I will record all emergency drills.
Standard #:	8VAC20-800-920
Description:	Based on review, the menu for the one-week period was not current. Evidence The menu posted was dated 1018/21.
Plan of Correction:	I always use the same two weeks menu. I will update the date each week.
Standard #:	8VAC20-800-690-D
Description:	Based on observation, the diapering surface is not being cleaned and sanitized after each use. Evidence The diaper changing table was being cleaned with wipes. It needs to be cleaned using a solution of soap and water, patted dry and then sprayed with a solution of bleach and water and allowed to air dry.
Plan of Correction:	We will being using the spray bottles.
