Technical Assistance:
The highchairs onsite are approved for children 50 pounds or less. Please ensure the use of these highchairs are following the manufacturer's guidelines.

Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 8 children(20pts) with 2 staff were present. Walk thru of the family day home and outside backyard was conducted. When the Licensing Inspector arrived, the children were finishing morning snack. No medication needs at this time. One topical ointment onsite. The children were observed transitioning to outside play time with 1 staff and the younger children remained inside with the Provider. No new staff hired since the last licensing inspection. A total of 3 children's records, all staff and all household member files were completed.

Description: Based on observation of the family day home, equipment was not maintained in a clean and safe manner.
Evidence:
A large rusted metal tray leaning against the backyard fence and accessible to the children.

Plan of Correction: My husband will remove it today.
