The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) assumed oversight of child care licensing and monitoring on July 1, 2021. All associated regulations and codes have transferred over from the Virginia Department of Social Services.

- Comments:

An on-site monitoring inspection was conducted. Three children were present with one caregiver for seven points which is within ratios for supervision. Observed transition from lunch (chicken and rice, bananas, cucumbers and milk), using the bathroom, and preparation for rest time. No medication was reported to be on-site. All training is current for emergency care as well as drills, written emergency plan and annual training. Space is well equipped with materials and equipment for young children. A crib for sleeping is upstairs with a monitor. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.
