Technical Assistance:

Nonflexible-molded seats shall be used only when a caregiver stays within arm's length of any hard-molded swing in use and is positioned to see and protect other children who might walk into the path of the swing. Children should not have access to the utility room adjacent to the child care area.

Comments:

An unannounced monitoring/renewal inspection was conducted on 4/26/2022 T 11:30am. There were 3 children directly supervised by the provider. The child care area, 3 staff and household member records, 2 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely. There was an assortment of age appropriate materials for children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Description:	Based on record review, the provider did not obtain for each caregiver and adult household member a current Report of Tuberculosis Screening form, in accordance with the requirements in 8VAC20-800-170, every two years from the date of the first screening or more frequently as recommended by a physician or the local health department. Evidence: 1. The Tuberculosis screening for Adult 1 was conducted on 1/16/2020. 2. The Tuberculosis screening for Adult 2 was conducted on 3/18/2018.
