An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:25 am pm to 11:00 am. At the time of entrance, 12 children totaling were in care with the provider and assistant provider. The record sample size consisted of 2 children's records and the provider's record and the assistant's record. The children in care were observed engaging with the provider, participating in educational activities and free play. There have been no injuries since the last inspection and no medications are being administered at this time. Areas of noncompliance are noted in the violation narrative and were discussed with the provider during the exit meeting at the conclusion of the inspection.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A Description: Based on record review and interview it was determined the provider did not practice emergency evacuation procedures monthly.
Evidence:
1. There was no emergency evacuation drill documented for the month of April 2022.
2. Provider confirmed that an emergency evacuation drill was not practiced in April 2022.Plan of Correction: Provider will ensure emergency evacuation drills are practiced monthly.
