Licensing inspector discussed changes in regulations with the provider.
- Comments:

A monitoring inspection was conducted on 04/25/2022 from approximately 9:20am-10:05am. There were 7 children present, ranging in ages from 4 years old to 6 years old, with 1 staff supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 1 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-770 Description: Based on observation, a working battery-operated flashlight was not available.
Evidence:
The flashlight was inoperable at the time of inspection.Plan of Correction: Purchased new batteries and now the flashlight is working.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-800-B Description: Based on observation the emergency plan was not reviewed at least annually.
Evidence:
The emergency plan was last reviewed 03/2020Plan of Correction: The emergency plan has been reviewed and updated with the necessary changes.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-180-A Description: Based on record review, a caregiver did not have a current tuberculosis screening.
Evidence:
The tuberculosis screening of Caregiver A expired 12/03/2021.Plan of Correction: I will update my tuberculosis information with my doctor.
