A monitoring inspection was initiated on 6/01/2022 and concluded on 6/01/2022. There were a total of 11 children with 3 staff members present. Children were observed during snack time, coloring, engaged in indoor play and resting. The staff were attentive to the children during the inspection.
The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records and 1 staff records were reviewed.
Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 22.1-289.035-B-2 Description: Based on staff records review, the provider did not ensure criminal history records check were obtained prior to first day of employment and care for children.
Evidence:
1. Staff #1 (date of employment 4/22/2022) did not have documentation of criminal history records check results in record available for review during the inspection.
