Technical Assistance:
Discussion was held on the topics of current enrollment, current staffing, and training.

Discussion and observation of the new "sun room" built as an extension to the FDH. The Provider stated that Grant money awarded to her through the CARES Act assisted in this new area for her child care. The children were observed using this new area during today's inspection.

Comments:
This monitoring inspection was initiated by licensing staff and concluded on 06/22/2022, between the hours of 10 am to 11:30 am. There were 6 children present (19 points), ranging from infant to preschool-age, with 3 caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration; physical plant; staffing and supervision; programming; special care and emergencies; and nutrition. A total of 8 children records, 1 household record, and 3 staff records were reviewed.

Information gathered during the inspection determined that there was a non-compliance with an applicable standard. This violation was documented on the Violation Notice issued to the home.

If you should have any questions, please call or send an email to charlie.perkins@doe.virginia.gov. Thank you.
