It was recommended that the provider use the model forms for emergency drills, and to keep a log of all staff trainings.
- Comments:

An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today between 10:10am and 12:00pm. There were 9 children present with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 23 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed signing, coloring, building with blocks, and eating lunch. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and staff records, fire drill log, menu, attendance and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-210-A Description: Based on staff file review, all caregivers had not obtained a minimum of 16 clock hours of training annually in areas relevant to their job responsibilities.
Evidence: Staff #1 did not have 16 clock hours of training annually.Plan of Correction: Provider will ensure assistant obtains 16 hours of training annually.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-240-A Description: Based on observation, unsafe conditions were found at the home.
Evidence: Wires and electrical outlets without caps were found inside an unlocked storage room.Plan of Correction: Provider will put a lock on the door to the storage room.
