A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated on 7/12/2022 and concluded on 7/12/2022. There were 9 children present with 2 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-430-A-3 Description: Based on record review and provider interview, Lockdown procedures have not been practiced at least annually.
Evidence: The last documented lock down drill was dated 1/19/2021. The Provider stated she has not conducted a lockdown drill this year.Plan of Correction: A lock down drill will be conducted this month and annually going forward.
