- Technical Assistance:
Reviewed food preparation for foods considered to be a higher risk of choking hazards. The provider reported that safe food preparation is practiced at all times.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. The provider and two assistant caregivers were caring for 10 children, totaling 34 points. The children were engaged in playing with toys and blocks, dancing exercises, hide and seek games, and creative play activities. Later today the provider intends to take the children in the backyard for water play and sand play activities. The children were to be served turkey sandwiches, broccoli, strawberries, and milk for lunch today.
The Inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administrative records, caregiver health records, emergency preparedness, children's records, caregiver training, programming, and nutrition.
