An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on August 8, 2022 from approximately 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. There were 6 children in attendance for a total of 12 points, with one staff. The provider record, the substitute provider record, and 5 children?s records were reviewed. All areas of the home were observed and areas where the children are cared for were inspected.
Interviews were held with the provider throughout the inspection. The inspector interacted with children in care when appropriate. The designated areas for childcare were deemed appropriate and are equipped with age appropriate toys to meet the needs of the children. Children were observed dancing to music, playing with blocks, and getting ready for lunch while the licensing inspector was on site.
The license was posted. Evacuation drills were conducted monthly. The most recent evacuation drill was on 07/27/22. Shelter in place drills were conducted two times with the most recent on 07/27/22.
The menu was posted.
Per the provider, medication is not administered.
The center?s first aid kit was inspected and found complete. The home had a working flashlight and battery operated radio.
There were no violations cited as a result of this inspection.
