An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted beginning at 11:00 a.m. and ended at 1:45 p.m. There were four children in care ages 18 months through 8 years old for a total of 7 points.
At the start of the inspection, children were observed having free play; a toddler in the gated toddler area that includes a variety of toys and a preschool child playing with blocks. Two additional children arrived during the inspection. Children were observed during lunch. Lunch today was turkey franks, bun, baked beans, grapes, crispy hash brown rounds and milk. Childcare areas and supplies and materials were observed.
Posted information was reviewed. There is a complete first aid kit, a battery operated radio and flashlight. Training hours were reviewed. The provider completed a combination of 42.5 training hours for the license years (21 hours for the 2020-2021, 21.5 hours for 2021-2022).
Two children's records, one provider record, and three household member records were reviewed and complete.
