Comments:
An unannounced initial inspection was conducted from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon with the provider. There were no children in care and not all standards could be reviewed. Childcare areas were observed and there is a small variety of age/stage appropriate toys, materials and equipment available for the requested age range of birth - 12 year olds. One crib was observed and meets the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) federal safety standards for cribs. Two provider/household member records were reviewed and in compliance. The emergency preparedness plan was reviewed and complete. The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The provider is not Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified and cannot administer medication to children in care.
