Standard #: 8VAC20-800-680-A Description: Based on observation, it was determined that the caregiver did not wash their hands with soap and water after diapering children.
Evidence:
The provider was observed diapering 2 children and failed to wash their hands after each diaper change.Plan of Correction: I was wearing cloves and was not aware that I still needed to wash hands in between diapering. I will make sure to wash my hands between diapering.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-680-B Description: Based on observation, it was determined that the provider did not ensure that children hands were washed with soap and water after diapering.
Evidence:
The Licensing Inspector observed the provider failing to have 2- two year old children wash their hands after diapering.Plan of Correction: I will make sure to wash the children's hands after diapering them.
