Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today ( 8/12/2022) from 2:15 pm-3:00 pm. There were 8 children directly supervised by 3 caregivers. The inspector reviewed 3 provider /staff records, 3 child records and 6 household member records. The physical plant, staffing and supervison, programming, medication administration policies and procedures, emergencies preparedness planning, drills and supplies were also inspected. The children were observed napping and preparing for afternoon activities.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-510-C
Description: Based upon observation, occupied cots did not have at least 12 inches of space in between each other.

Evidence: 2 nap cots with children sleeping on them were spaced less than 12 inches a part during the nap time observed.

Plan of Correction: We will spread out.
