A monitoring inspection was conducted on September 19, 2022. There were ten children present with two caregivers supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of five child records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Evidence: The first aid kit was stored inside a backpack that was hanging on the side of the children's cubbies. The first aid kit was within reach of children.Plan of Correction: Not available online. Contact Inspector for more information.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-A Description: Based on review, provider did not ensure 2 of 5 children's records have documentation of required information.
Evidence: The following was found during review of records:
1. The record for child #1 (start date 9/6/2022) did not have documentation of parent's employment addresses.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-280 Description: Based on observation, provider did not ensue potentially poisonous substances such as cleaning agents and disinfectants are stored in areas inaccessible to children.
Evidence: Multiple cleaning substances labeled with "warning/caution" and "Keep out of Reach of Children" were stored in an unlocked cabinet under the sink in the bathroom that children are temporarily using.
