An initial monitoring inspection was conducted on Tuesday, September 20, 2022. The inspection begin at approximately 9:20 AM ? 10:45 AM. Upon arrival the children were observed eating snack, and sitting in high chairs. The inside and outside play area, restroom, napping rooms and kitchen area were inspected. The required postings were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The first aid kit, emergency supplies, and daily attendance, were reviewed. There are no firearms in the home. During the inspection, five children's records, provider's record, an assistant?s record, and a household member?s record were reviewed. Violations were cited during today?s inspection. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-280 Description: Based on observation, the provider failed to ensure potentially poisonous substances were stored in areas inaccessible to children. Evidence: 1. Clorox Wipes were stored under a changing table in reach of children. 2. A bottle of Lysol Toilet cleaner was stored in an unlocked cabinet under the sink in the bathroom. Plan of Correction: Will put in a locked cabinet.
