Discussed crib locations upstairs and spacing them apart a minimum of 12 inches when occupied and also the need to ensure the crib closest to the stairwell is used for children who are unable to pull up.

Comments:
An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted today. A total of 8 children (23pts) with 2 staff onsite. The younger children were upstairs preparing for lunch. One infant observed on the carpet having "tummy time". The older children were observed in high chairs and one older child was placed at a table preparing for lunch. A walk thru of the upper level of the home and the programming space and observation of the backyard area was made. No medication needs identified at this time and no food allergies known. The children were observed eating with staff close by assisting and encouraging them to eat. A total of 6 children's records were reviewed today along with all staff and household member records. This inspection began at approximately 11am and ended at 12:45pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@doe.virginia.gov with any questions.
