Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 11:00am-11:45am. There were 8 children directly supervised by 2 staff for a total of 22 points. The home, 1staff record, 2 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating snack. Diapering procedures and hand washing was also observed. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice.

Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A
Description: Based on record review, it was determined the provider did not practice monthly evacuation drills with all caregivers and children in care during all shifts that children are in care.
Evidence:
1. Evacuation drills were not recorded for the months June, July, and August.

Plan of Correction: I will make sure I get the information.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-30-A
Description: Based on observation, it was determined the Provider did not post the most current license for parent's view.
Evidence:
1. The License was not posted and the Provider stated she didn't have the printer working to post but will now print it.

Plan of Correction: I will post.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-B
Description: Based on record review of a new enrolled child, the provider did not obtain the physical and immunization record for child #2.

Plan of Correction: I will get the documents from the parents.
