Technical Assistance:
Discussed with Director: Background searches (fingerprinting) will begin to expire in January 2023, portal for Provider searches(CPS).

Comments:
An in person renewal study was conducted today. There were 3 children present (8 points) with 2 caregivers at Licensing Inspector's arrival. Children were observed resting quietly, being bottle fed and playing quietly.
5 adult and 3 child records were reviewed. see Violation Notice for non-compliances. Emergency evacuation drills, Emergency supplies, first aid supplies, menu and bathroom supplies are all in compliance.
The report will be typed off site and emailed to the facility for signatures. LI was present from 1:20PM - 2:50 PM.

Standard #: 8VAC20-770-60-C-2
Description: Based on a review of records, one adult records does not contain documentation of a completed Central Registry Search (CPS).
Evidence:
Staff A's record does not include a completed Central Registry Search.

Plan of Correction: The search was mailed to Richmond. The results have not been received as of today. I will follow up with Richmond to see where the results are, or in process.
