Comments:
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 9/14/2022 at 12:00pm. There were 10 children directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 3 children's records, 3 household member's records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There was 1 medication on site today. Children were observed napping. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. Description: Based on review, the provider did not ensure that children given prescription medication, also have documentation of medication authorization from a parent or a physician.
Evidence: reveiwed the provider's records and found that 1 child with an inhaler that is used as needed did not have documentation of signed (by parent or physician) medication authorization.
