Description: Based on observation and interaction, it was determined that a caregiver was not able to speak English in order to carry out their assigned job responsibilities, and communicate effectively with emergency responders.
Evidence:
Caregiver A was the only caregiver present during the inspection. The caregiver was not able to understand when asked questions such as how many children were present, can I see your attendance, can I see children's files, do you have medication on site for any of the children. Caregiver A called the provider, who was not at home and the provider had to interpret the Licensing Inspector's questions for Caregiver A.

Plan of Correction: Caregiver A will attend enrichment class to better strengthen her English. She will be retrained in her knowledge of all the paperwork location such as the child records and questions regarding the children.
