A subsidy health and safety (SHSI) inspection was initiated and concluded on 11/16/2022. There were 7 children present with 8 staff supervising. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date. Both inspections combined cover subsidy health and safety regulations. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards were reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program.

Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-B Description: Based on a review of records and caregiver's statement, one caregiver has not completed the required Virginia Preservice Training for Child Care Staff.
Evidence:
1 of 3 caregiver records reviewed did not include documentation of having taken the required Preservice training course online (10 hour). Caregiver stated that she has not taken the course.Plan of Correction: I will remind her to take the course.
Standard #: 8VAC20-790-250-F Description: Based on a review of records, one caregiver has not completed the required course for the annual safety update.
