An unannounced Monitoring Inspection was conducted today. A total of 10 children (20pts) with 2 staff were onsite today. The children were observed cleaning up from morning activities and transitioning to circle time. In circle time the children interacted with each other and the provider while engaging in "Five Happy Snowmen" with a felt board. The children counted the snowmen from 1 to 5. Beaded ornament trees were completed as another activity. The children were excited to show their completed ornaments and explained the process of making one. A graph of favorite things to do in winter was on display where the children stood in lines representing their favorite thing to do during winter time. Handwashing procedures were observed prior to snack time. Snack today was sliced apples with either milk or water to drink. Some medication onsite today for allergy needs. A total of 5 children's records, all staff and household records were reviewed. All background checks remain current. This inspection occurred between 10:40am and 12pm.
