Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 1/10/2023 from 10:00 am-11:10 am. There were 9 children (25 points) supervised by 3 direct caregivers. The home, 3 staff records, 5 children?s records, 1 household member record, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. Children were observed engaging freely. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Thank you for your cooperation during this inspection. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-830-A
Description: Based on record review and interview, the emergency evacuation procedures were not practiced monthly.

Evidence: The December 2022 evacuation drill was not practiced.

Plan of Correction: We will try doing it by the middle of each month.
