An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted on 2/8/23 from 9:30am to 10:40am with the provider and one assistant. There were five children in care, ranging in age from 10-months to five-years-old, for a total of 12 points. Children were observed watching a television show then having free play with toys. Five child records, the provider record, one caregiver record, three household member records, and four pet records were reviewed. The provider and assistant have current certification in CPR and First Aid. The provider understands that they must obtain certification in Medication Administration Training (MAT) in order to give medication. The first aid kit, flashlight, weather band radio, carbon monoxide detector, and fire extinguisher were observed. The emergency drill log, attendance, and menu were also reviewed.
