The next anticipated inspection will be the providers renewal inspection. Provider was reminded to have all renewal application documents completed and sent into licensing office 45 days prior to expiration for processing. The renewal application is available on the VDOE website.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 02/10/2023 between the hours of approximately 11:55 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. There were 9 children present with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 20 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing outside. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, caregiver and children records, fire drill log, and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Information gathered during the inspection determined non-compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Evidence: Child #3?s record did not contain a name, address and telephone number for a second emergency contact.Plan of Correction: I will ask for it.
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-210-A Description: Based on record review and provider interview, caregivers did not obtain a minimum of sixteen clock hours of training annually.
Evidence:
1. Caregiver #1?s record did not have documentation of training for the 2022 calendar year.
2. Caregiver #1 stated that they did not complete trainings in 2022.
3. Caregiver #2?s record did not have documentation of training for the 2022 calendar year.
4. Caregiver #1 stated the Caregiver #1 did not complete trainings in 2022.Plan of Correction: We are already in the process of completing our trainings for this year.
