An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on February 16, 2023 from approximately 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. There were 5 children in attendance and a total of 3 staff present. 2 staff records, 2 household records, and 5 children?s records were reviewed. All areas of the home were observed and areas where the children are cared for were inspected.
Interviews were held with the provider throughout the inspection. The inspector interacted with children in care when appropriate. The designated areas for childcare were deemed appropriate and are equipped with age appropriate toys to meet the needs of the children. Children were observed playing with toys in the playroom, and eating lunch.
The license and current inspection were posted as well as the drill log. Evacuation drills were conducted monthly. The most recent was on 01/19/23. Shelter in place drill conducted two times with the most recent on 12/7/22.
The menu was posted.
Per the provider, medication is not administered, and transportation is not provided.
The center?s first aid kit was inspected and found complete. The home had a working flashlight and battery operated radio.
There were no violations cited as a result of this inspection.
