Comments:

An in-person mandated renewal inspection was conducted on February 23, 2023 from 9:40am until 10:30am. There were 3 children (8 points) in care with 2 staff supervising. An infant was observed crawling and playing freely and crawling about the room. Children were observed playing freely with cars, blocks and other toys. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, medication, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records, 1 household member record and 2 staff records were reviewed. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. Plan of Correction:	The previously employer was contacted for a second reference.

Description:	Based on record review, the provider did not ensure the child's record contained all required information. Evidence: Child 1 is missing parent work phone numbers and 2 emergency contacts.
Plan of Correction:	I will contact the parents to get the missing information.
Standard #:	8VAC20-800-210-A
Description:	Based on record review, the provider did not obtain a minimum of 16 hours of training annually. Evidence: The provider did not complete a total of 16 hours of annual training.
Plan of Correction:	I will make sure to schedule classes to complete 16 hours of training.
