Violations:
Standard #: 8VAC20-800-880
Description: Based on observation, the family day home did not follow the most recent, age-appropriate nutritional requirements of a recognized authority such as the Child and Adult Care Food
Program of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).
Evidence: The children were observed eating oatmeal with yogurt mixed in. The children were not offered a full serving of fruit or milk.

Plan of Correction: There was apples in the oatmeal. The parents don't want them drinking milk and they don't drink milk because they don't drink at home.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-890
Description: Based on observation and interview, food containers brought from home were not clearly labeled in a way that identifies the owner.
Evidence: A container of pasta was observed sitting on a shelf. The container was not labeled with a child's name. The provider confirmed that the pasta belonged to an enrolled child that brings their own food.

Plan of Correction: I'll have the parents do it.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-60-B
Description: Based on record review, children's records did not contain all required information.
Evidence: Child #7 and Child #9's records did not contain documentation of the families medical insurance policy number.

Plan of Correction: I can text the parents and they'll provide me with the numbers today.

Standard #: 8VAC20-800-320-B
Description: Based on observation, protective covers were not installed on all unused electrical outlets accessible to children under five years of age.
Evidence: There was one unused outlet that did not have a protective cover next to a shelf in the children's play area.

Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection.
