Technical Assistance:
Guidance, resources, model forms and training links can be found on the updated Licensing website https://www.childcare.virginia.gov.

Any household member or staff who originally completed fingerprint searches in 2018 will need to renew those through FieldPrint prior to expiration. Please reach out directly to OBI for codes or assistance at 804-726-7884.

Ensure the gates are closed at all times in the hallway and both caregivers are actively supervising the children when there is more than 16 points.

Comments:
An unannounced renewal study was conducted today. Seven daycare children and two grandchildren (household members) were present for nineteen points with two caregivers. Observed children playing with manipulatives, indoor push toys and looking at books. Reviewed 2 children's records, emergency preparation, caregiver training (17.5 hours for both), physical space and supervision. Lunch served today was chicken and rice with vegetables and milk. One child is still taking a bottle. Background checks and TB documentation are current for all household members. The information gathered during the inspection determined no violations with applicable standards or law. No violations were issued. Feel free to contact me if you need any assistance. A
