A renewal inspection was initiated and concluded on Monday, March 20, 2023 . There was 4 children in care with 1 caregiver supervising. The inspector reviewed compliance in the areas of administration, physical plant, staffing and supervision, programming, special care and emergencies and nutrition. A total of 2 child records , 1 caregiver, and records were reviewed. Information gathered during the inspection determined non compliance with applicable standards or law and violations were documented on the violation notice issued to the program. Standard #: 8VAC20-800-320-G Description: Based on interview, the licensee did not ensure to obtain documentation of an annual inspection and cleaning of wood burning stoves and fireplaces.
Evidence: Interview with caregiver confirmed the documentation of annual inspections were not available for review for the inspection.Plan of Correction: The provider will contact company and get a copy as well as service appointment.
